COMPANY

The company was founded on 1 October 1997 by Huntsman Corporation and RWE-DEA Aktiengesellschaft fuer Mineraloel und Chemie (Condea) as a joint venture.

In 2001 Sasol acquired Condea Chemie and took over also Condea's share in this joint venture.  Sasol and Huntsman retained equal shares in this joint venture until 30 September 2019.

After completing the purchase of the other 50 % interest in the JV, Huntsman changed its name into Huntsman Products GmbH in March 2020. Huntsman fully integrated the European MAN plants and business into its worldwide footprint, thereby better servicing the global customer base with a total global MAN capacity of 260,000 mt located in Northern America and Europe.
